Job Title: Commercial Loan Research Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Research Analyst to join our team at TD Bank Group. As a Commercial Loan Research Analyst, you will play a critical role in assisting the Research and Process Optimization Team in reaching and maintaining TD's pledging target with the Federal Reserve Bank/Federal Reserve Board (FRB).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform loan research and ensure compliance with FRB audits of pledged loans
  • Keep pledging data/activities/controls current and compliant
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to advance service quality and streamline functions
  • Provide leadership and direction to less experienced staff
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to advance service quality and/or streamline functions
  • Recommends and implements department training needs
  • Maintains and develops expert knowledge of company and/or department systems
  • Coordinates quality control and/or compliance activities
  • Creates manuals, reports and documents and make updates as needed
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
  • 5+ years related experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including possible evenings and weekends
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work as an active participant in a team as well as independently
  • Experience in a unpredictable and fast pace environment
  • Proven ability to be detail oriented
  • Strong leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Commercial Loan Documentation and Commercial Credit Standards
  • Familiarity with Commercial Loan Origination and Servicing Systems (nCino, ACBS, Shaw)
  • Previous experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with TD data warehouse and document storage (Filenet, DocMan) is an asset
