As an Information Technology Program Coordinator at Cianbro, you will be instrumental in empowering our team to excel in generating and delivering value through the management of IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the project intake process, assessing and prioritizing new initiatives.
  • Establish, schedule, oversee, and monitor project expectations, roles, scope, timelines, milestones, and tasks in partnership with teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Recognize and manage project interdependencies, uphold critical path objectives, evaluate outcomes, pinpoint challenges, and formulate contingency strategies.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to team members and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and project teams to create and present project budget proposals and updates for senior management review.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive and precise project documentation, notes, and artifacts.
  • Assist in identifying project participants and conducting resource planning to meet objectives.
  • Oversee project closure and transition, including final documentation and lessons learned.
  • Foster and maintain positive business relationships at the project, departmental, and organizational levels.
  • Work with project delivery teams to continuously enhance tools, frameworks, and documentation for effective project execution and management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on project management methodologies and practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, particularly in IT project execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive demeanor, and a dedicated service-oriented approach.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive mindset with the capability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional setting.
  • Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge; Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM), or similar credentials are preferred.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and sustain positive engagement among project teams, stakeholders, and IT across multiple projects and extended timelines.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Skilled in balancing expectations and facilitating collaboration within and between project teams and stakeholders to achieve planned objectives.
  • Experience in technical writing, including the ability to comprehend business challenges, draft requirements, and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Proficient in managing various project sizes and complexities, handling multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing different methodologies such as agile and waterfall as needed.
  • Competent in using project management software platforms, MS Teams, Office 365, and MS Azure DevOps is advantageous.
  • Quick learner with the ability to research and acquire knowledge of new technologies to guide related projects.
  • Strong capability to collaborate with technical teams to elicit, develop, and document project plans.
