Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a small group home setting. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and medication administration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform nursing assessments as per state regulations
  • Take temperatures, pulse, blood pressure, and weight per program guidelines
  • Collect urine samples and complete necessary paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of assignment
  • 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation in Amergis' Competency program
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as required
  • Current Health certificate
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
