Role Overview:

The Sales Applications Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Prevent Sales Team by performing site assessments, measuring equipment for Prevent screen installations, and generating customer quotes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments at customer locations independently
  • Measure equipment for potential installation of Prevent screens
  • Create detailed dimensional drawings
  • Prepare and deliver quotes to customers
  • Assist distributors and new clients with measurements
  • Engage with customers remotely through phone and video communications
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Permatron Inside Sales Team as needed
  • Travel overnight 25% - 50% (expenses covered by the company)
  • Promptly communicate any open issues to management
  • Maintain comprehensive expense reports
  • Facilitate virtual meetings and provide application support
  • Perform other assigned tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work on and ascend ladders
  • Capable of standing or walking for extended durations
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and diagrams
  • Assessment of job-related safety risks
  • Comfortable interacting with HVAC and Maintenance personnel
  • Experience with or willingness to learn CAD software

Performance Metrics:

  • No customer complaints regarding service
  • Timely execution of surveys and quotes
  • Accurate measurements and drawings leading to high-quality installations
