Job Summary

Webber is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee the management of construction crews and their materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project plans and blueprints, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and direct the training, development, and work assignments of crew members.
  • Oversee the activities of the construction crew, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule.
  • Conduct daily safety analyses to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Manage tools, materials, and supplies, as well as equipment utilization.
  • Report crew hours worked and code time accurately on daily timesheets.

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and safety procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members and other stakeholders.
Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to interpret and apply mathematical concepts to construction projects.
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills to resolve construction-related issues.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making.
Physical Demands

The Construction Supervisor will be required to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, heavy physical activity, and potential hazards.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in highway and road construction, with knowledge of one or two phases of construction.
