Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher - Heavy Civil Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of concrete finishing projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of laborers and equipment operators to ensure efficient and safe completion of concrete finishing tasks.
- Inspect and test concrete surfaces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement plans for concrete finishing projects, including setting up forms, aligning equipment, and directing the casting of concrete.
- Monitor and control the curing process of concrete, taking into account factors such as temperature, humidity, and wind.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality results.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
The work environment for this position will involve regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and physical demands. The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols at all times.
