  • Take ownership of project work, becoming well-versed in project plans and specifications.

  • Manage subcontractor activities, ensuring their work aligns with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and main office to coordinate monthly project estimates and schedule updates.
  • Prepare and deliver precise and timely project reports, progress updates, cost estimates, and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Maintain project oversight, assisting management in achieving budgetary and scheduling goals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Foremen, fostering professional development and growth among crew members across various disciplines.
  • Keep comprehensive and organized project records, documenting all correspondence, approvals, quantities, and activities related to the project.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in road construction to enhance project outcomes.
  • Supervise the maintenance and care of equipment, coordinating repairs and planned maintenance with company technicians.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of preconstruction activities as required.
  • Support management in developing and implementing project procedures and standards to ensure successful project delivery.
Work Environment

The work area will primarily be within the TXDOT Districts and surrounding regions.
