We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a KARE Center Staff member. As a key member of our crisis stabilization services, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and respectful environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities- Implement daily operations of the KARE Center, ensuring a positive and comprehensive experience for residents.
- Participate in the intake process, gathering required data and orienting residents to center expectations.
- Provide positive feedback and respect to residents, employing preventive teaching methods to avoid conflicts.
- Admit residents referred to the KARE Center, completing associated paperwork and documenting clinical information.
- Monitor resident medical and emotional status, arranging emergency care when necessary.
- Perform other duties as required by the Program Manager, including answering house phones and responding to crisis hotline calls.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with AODA/Mental Health population a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Ability to maintain records and document case notes daily.
- Willingness to learn and work with treatment philosophies.
