Job Description

As a Reunification Worker with Professional Services Group, you will play a vital role in supporting families in need. The Intensive Aftercare Program (IAP) aims to address the unique needs of families involved with the child welfare system, ensuring the safe return of children to their homes.

The Reunification Worker will create personalized care plans for families, providing services such as parenting support, school monitoring, random drug testing, curfew checks, job hunting, and crisis intervention. This role requires a strong understanding of child welfare and a passion for empowering families to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily face-to-face contact with families to ensure safety and cooperation with the safety plan.
  • Promote effective parenting skills with families.
  • Monitor client school attendance through daily attendance checks.
  • Analyze client situations, capabilities, and problems to determine required services.
  • Act as a resource to de-escalate crisis situations with youth and families.
  • Monitor compliance with aftercare plan conditions through daily curfew checks, home visits, random urine analysis, and employment search assistance.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.

Work Environment:

This role requires local travel to meet clients and families at home, residential treatment centers, or other placement settings and community spaces. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
