Rental Account Manager

This position is the primary Rental Sales/Marketing function at the BU level, focusing on outside sales and B2B relationships. It supports commercial rental and trailer services product lines, aiming to generate profitable new accounts while retaining existing ones.
The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team, equipped to succeed and empowered to develop their sales career. They will connect with customers, build value, and relationships, driving pure rental revenue growth, improved profitability, and Return on Assets.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop leads through cold calls, telephone solicitation, and customer visits, assessing customer needs and developing proposals.
- Work with rental operations to ensure equipment availability.
- Maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Customer Retention:
- Maintain contact with customers through multiple visits and phone calls.
- Ensure quality service by effectively handling customer complaints and staying abreast of customer needs and long-term rentals.
Time Administration:
- Proposal and contract development.
- Maintaining customer files, preparation of follow-up correspondence, and coordination with other BU departments.
- Administration-credit approval, collections of receivables, maintenance-PM status, and updates of scheduling.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or 5 years equivalent job-related experience.
- One year or more sales experience or equivalent sales training required.
- Three years or more sales experience preferred.
- One year or more industry experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
