Job Overview

Scribe-X is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to our providers and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction: Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner, gathering necessary information and assisting providers with patient work-ups.
  • Clinical Support: Participate in pre-visit procedures, scrub charts, verify lab results, and assist with medication reconciliation.
  • Exam Room Preparation: Prepare exam rooms with necessary equipment, stock supplies, and disinfect between visits.
  • Phlebotomy and Lab Draws: Perform phlebotomy and lab draws as directed by providers, following standard protocol.
  • Communication: Provide patients with after-visit summaries, verbally review information, and ensure understanding of next steps in care.
  • Administrative Tasks: Answer phones, collect and record patient information, schedule appointments, and respond to prescription requests.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Experience: One year of related experience and/or training, with primary care experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Certification through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification program, such as AAMA, NCCT, or CCMA.
  • Language Skills: Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in Spanish is highly preferred.
