Position: Delinquency Control Counselor
Overview:
In a dynamic call center environment, you will engage in outbound communication through an auto-dialer system while also handling incoming calls. The primary objective is to assist members in resolving their accounts before they transition to mid or late-stage collections, which can impact their credit scores.

- Navigate various systems to manage account information efficiently.
- Employ negotiation techniques to achieve favorable outcomes for both the company and members.
- Thrive in a competitive atmosphere, demonstrating determination and initiative.
- Provide empathetic support to members, addressing their concerns and overcoming objections.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in finance or collections is a plus.
- Experience in a call center setting is beneficial for adapting to the fast-paced nature of the role.
- Background in customer service, retail, or hospitality is relevant, particularly if it involves effective communication.
- A strong personality fit is essential; we seek hardworking, competitive individuals who can articulate clearly.
Performance Metrics:
Success in this role is measured by the effectiveness in managing accounts and collecting outstanding balances. Regular reports will be provided to rank counselors based on their monthly collection achievements, allowing for visibility into individual performance relative to peers.
Training Program:
The initial training period consists of:
- Four weeks of virtual and classroom training, followed by four weeks of hands-on NEST training.
- Training hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM CST / 8 AM - 4:30 PM EST.
- The first three days will be conducted on-site, with the remaining training delivered in a hybrid format (currently one day on-site, subject to change).
NEST Training:
This phase includes:
- Four weeks of on-site training focused on phone etiquette and system navigation.
- Up to four additional weeks of nesting led by the leadership team to further develop skills.
- This stage provides exposure to the role without immediate pressure.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Availability to work all Saturdays is required, with a weekday off provided in exchange.
- Hybrid schedule with two days per week on-site.
- Note: Full on-site training and work options are available.
Compensation:
The starting pay for this position is $18.95.
