As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate entry of financial transactions into the company's ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize all customer and vendor records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process and manage customer and vendor invoices, credit memos, and payments, ensuring timely and accurate recording in the system.
  • Collect and process payments from customers and vendors, and accurately record them in the system.
  • Manage a weekly collection process, including calls and emails to customers and vendors.
  • Research, track, and resolve any issues related to financial transactions.
  • Protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Review and enter new customer and vendor information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with a strong background in financial transactions and record-keeping.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots and lookups.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently process financial transactions.
  • The ability to work independently, creatively problem-solve, and work through ambiguity.
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Education/Certification:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
