In a fast-paced, dynamic environment at One Haus, we seek an accomplished Executive Pastry Chef to oversee our pastry team and drive the success of our dessert program.
About the RoleThis key position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in pastry operations, menu development, and staff management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Create and execute seasonal menus that showcase creativity and consistency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of pastry cooks, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to excel.
- Sales and Revenue: Drive sales growth through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Culture and Community: Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and respect among team members.
- Education and Experience: A culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in pastry preparation, decorating, and presentation; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Licenses and Certifications: Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) and any other relevant certifications.
- Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
