Job Opportunity in Comprehensive Ophthalmology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our team at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group PC in Kensington, MD.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to patients in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $375,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, diagnosing and treating eye disorders, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Treating approximately 21 patients per day in 20-minute appointments.
  • Spending approximately 2.5 days per month in the operating room (varies by patient load).
  • Caring for a large patient population drawn from the tri-state area.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology.
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
