**Job Summary:**

Kensington Healthcare Center is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to provide high-quality medication administration and personal care services to our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administer medications according to physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
  • Keep accurate records of medication administration, including documentation of PRN medications and medication omissions.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in rounds with nurses and physicians to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, nursing).
  • Current certification as a CMA in the State of Maryland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Estimated Salary:** $52,000 per year.
