Medication Administration Specialist

**Job Summary:**
Kensington Healthcare Center is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to provide high-quality medication administration and personal care services to our residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and administer medications according to physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of medication administration, including documentation of PRN medications and medication omissions.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medications, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Participate in rounds with nurses and physicians to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, nursing).
- Current certification as a CMA in the State of Maryland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Estimated Salary:** $52,000 per year.
