Audiology Specialist

Are you passionate about improving hearing health and transforming lives? We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Kensington, MD. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders.

• Evaluate patients' audiologic function, interpret findings, and review test results with the patient or responsible adult.
• Document patients' case history, test results, and recommendations for follow-up in the medical record and report results and recommendations to referring physicians and/or primary care physicians.
• Counsel patients about treatment options for hearing loss and refer them to ear, nose, and throat departments for consultation when necessary.
• Counsel patients about managing chronic tinnitus.
• Educate patients about hearing conservation.

• Au.D. degree or equivalent experience required.
• Current employees must have a minimum of four years of experience in audiology or a Master's degree; new hires require an Au.D. degree.
• PPECOS enrollment within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• National Provider Identifier.
