Are you passionate about improving hearing health and transforming lives? We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Audiologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Kensington, MD. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' audiologic function, interpret findings, and review test results with the patient or responsible adult.
- Document patients' case history, test results, and recommendations for follow-up in the medical record and report results and recommendations to referring physicians and/or primary care physicians.
- Counsel patients about treatment options for hearing loss and refer them to ear, nose, and throat departments for consultation when necessary.
- Counsel patients about managing chronic tinnitus.
- Educate patients about hearing conservation.
- Au.D. degree or equivalent experience required.
- Current employees must have a minimum of four years of experience in audiology or a Master's degree; new hires require an Au.D. degree.
- PPECOS enrollment within three months of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- National Provider Identifier.
