Position Overview:

We are in search of an experienced Business Analyst with a robust understanding of the Finance sector.

The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrate proficiency in English for effective communication, be open to travel, and have a proven history of success in a consulting capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to collect and articulate project requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify effective solutions and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Translate intricate technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analyses to pinpoint discrepancies between business needs and existing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure precise implementation of requirements and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, providing insights to align with business objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, promoting a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to confirm that software meets specified requirements and operates as intended.
  • Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Offer ongoing support and clarification to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance data to suggest continuous improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure software solutions meet current standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionalities.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to facilitate the smooth adoption of new software features.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Finance Functional Business Analyst.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following sectors: Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Service Sector, Construction & Engineering, Shipping & Harbour Services, Aviation & Defense.
  • At least 3 years in client-facing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP implementation.
  • Familiarity with IFS Financials.
  • Background in Finance or Accounting within one or more of the following sectors: Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Service Sector, Construction & Engineering, Shipping & Harbour Services, Aviation & Defense.
