Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will possess a solid foundation in business and operational workflows, evaluating IT needs, and experience with software development and maintenance requests. The role will also involve project management and supporting non-technical clients. While performing Business Analyst duties for the IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) unit, knowledge of project management and strategic planning will be beneficial for various process evaluations and recommendations. The candidate will collaborate closely with the BRM Director.

Required Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large-scale software development setting
  • 5 years of expertise in functional and technical requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail
  • 5 years of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint)
  • 4 years of experience in creating Use Case documentation and User Stories that translate into clearly defined project requirements
  • 3 years of experience in facilitating meetings, conducting requirements gathering sessions, and delivering presentations
  • 2 years of experience in developing and presenting project status updates and reporting on key performance indicators
  • 2 years of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2 years of familiarity with the Texas Project Delivery Framework
  • 2 years of understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle
