Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to collect and define project requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes, systems, and user needs to pinpoint solutions and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
  • Convert complex technical concepts into easily digestible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Execute gap analyses to identify discrepancies between business requirements and existing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure precise implementation of requirements and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, providing insights to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a cooperative environment.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to verify that the software meets specified requirements and operates as intended.
  • Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure software solutions meet current standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Finance Functional Business Analyst.
  • At least 5 years' experience in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Service Sector, Construction & Engineering, Shipping & Harbour Services, Aviation & Defense.
  • A minimum of 3 years in client-facing roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project management software tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP implementation.
  • Familiarity with IFS Financials.
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting within one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Service Sector, Construction & Engineering, Shipping & Harbour Services, Aviation & Defense.
