Automotive Assistant

The Automotive Assistant and Service Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of the repair shop. This includes scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, and exceeding customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic math and PC skills. They will also possess basic supervisory/leadership skills to effectively manage the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and managing work orders
- Ordering parts and materials
- Ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs
- Exceeding customer expectations
- Managing and leading a team of technicians
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
- 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
