Position Title: Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold project timelines to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee the creation and management of design submissions, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control manager to develop, review, and finalize essential quality control documentation.
  • Supervise designers, subcontractors, and vendors to guarantee that design and installation information is accurate and delivered punctually.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and engineering performance, providing constructive feedback to the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate the procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and services from designated sources while maintaining effective inventory management.
  • Possess the authority to review and approve design submissions to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC or building controls.
  • Proficient in preparing written proposals, defining scopes of work, and coordinating site contractors and personnel; comprehensive understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and operations.
  • Excellent verbal and listening communication skills, along with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Capable of anticipating needs and independently resolving job-related challenges with urgency.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with MVR requirements for operating company vehicles.
