Senior Utilities Engineer

Position Overview:

  • Develop and execute cost-efficient projects within the Biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
  • Offer expert technical assistance in Utilities, Electrical systems, Refrigeration, and HVAC operations.
  • Supervise and mentor contractors while initiating engineering projects.
  • Report directly to the Head of Critical Utilities.

Your Contributions:

  • Support operational functions and maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment as necessary.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in key Utility systems.
  • Review and assess process designs, utilizing engineering tools to address challenges.
  • Champion Energy Optimization initiatives.
  • Assess and recommend preventive maintenance scheduling intervals.
  • Investigate and evaluate suggestions for process improvements.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation within the Trackwise system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Key Considerations:

  • Potential exposure to chemicals; protective clothing may be required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 25 lbs.
  • Work may occur in varying environmental conditions, including cold, hot, or wet settings.
  • Availability outside of standard business hours may be necessary.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
  • On-call support may be part of the role.
