Job Title: Front of House Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our catering team as a Front of House Staff member. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Address guest inquiries, provide information about menu items, and accommodate special requests. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist in the setup and arrangement of catering events, including table settings, decorations, and buffet displays. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Efficiently breakdown and clean up after events, ensuring the venue is left in pristine condition.
  • Service Coordination: Work closely with catering managers to execute event plans and timelines. Ensure that food and beverage service aligns with event schedules and client expectations. Coordinate with kitchen and support staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage presentation for adherence to quality standards. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the front of house area. Perform regular checks to ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to deliver a cohesive catering experience. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or adjustments during events. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or catering role is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
