Position Summary: Human Resources Manager

  • Comprehend the organizational strategies and the influence of emerging technologies, market dynamics, and workforce transformations to identify future talent requirements and formulate a strategy that ensures the optimal blend of talent, technologies, and employment models to achieve our objectives.
  • Act as a Project Manager to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business priorities and objectives.
  • Establish strong partnerships with restaurant management and culinary teams to provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations, address employee grievances, and offer guidance to both employees and management.
  • Identify trends within assigned business areas and collaborate with leadership to create and execute plans addressing challenges such as skill gaps, turnover, diversity, performance improvement, and organizational design.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements by monitoring and implementing federal, state, and local HR laws.
  • Perform regular audits of HR activities to guarantee adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the management of employee benefits programs, including retirement plans and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Address benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure prompt, fair, and courteous resolutions.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the workplace through ongoing education and training initiatives.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and injuries, recommending improvements to prevent future incidents.
  • Lead specific initiatives or projects as directed by the Senior Director of Human Resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive HR Generalist experience in a multi-state/multi-unit business environment.
  • Thorough understanding of all HR components, including systems, databases, and metrics.
  • Proactive, independent, efficient, and resourceful in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect data to strategy and craft compelling narratives.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with knowledge of contemporary workplace culture principles and tools.
  • Outstanding communicator capable of fostering trust and engagement with team members across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
