Job Description

At GE Vernova, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Gas Turbine NPI Controls Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Controls Systems Technology team, you will be responsible for developing and validating advanced gas turbine controls solutions in support of customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate gas turbine controls solutions in support of customer projects
  • Collaborate with GT Systems and design engineers to surface and drive gas turbine control system and accessories equipment requirements
  • Work with Controls Development Product Owner to plan quarterly milestones and sprint commitments
  • Drive ownership and incorporate lessons learned from validation and field experience into software standards
  • Support controls project execution engineer from project launch through commissioning

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Computer) OR a High School Diploma/ GED with 7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Control Systems, Ladder-logic, and HMI user interface
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% for controls field validation and customer meetings, as required
