This role is crucial for the precise and prompt management of all responsibilities associated with the transfer of ownerships within our resort network. Key tasks involve handling documentation related to Estoppels, Assignment of Contracts, and Quit Claim Deeds, while ensuring our systems reflect the latest ownership information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough title record investigations across various jurisdictions to confirm and update owner records.
- Prepare Quit Claim Deed packages and supporting documents for all properties to facilitate the ownership transfer process.
- Manage the shared team email inbox, ensuring timely tracking and responses to inquiries while adhering to the company's service standards. Communicate effectively with owners regarding account matters and strive for positive outcomes.
- Assist in resolving escalated issues related to Owner Transfers, including those received through various communication channels. This may involve correcting discrepancies and liaising with owners, external departments, title companies, and team supervisors.
- Draft owner resale contracts and/or modify existing contracts in all systems accurately. Create new packages for Assignment of Contract and complete the Estoppel Process.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisors, Managers, or Senior Management, while consistently maintaining a positive demeanor and upholding company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Title services, including recording and title searches.
- Familiarity with various types of recorded documents and legal descriptions and their implications on ownership and property transfers.
- Understanding of practices and terminology related to real property documents that necessitate property transfer actions.
- Knowledge of county-specific recording requirements to ensure an exceptional customer service experience for owners.
- Experience in customer service and/or hospitality is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience with contracts and documentation in Deeding/Title Services is required.
- Experience in the timeshare industry in a similar role is advantageous.
