Position Summary: We are actively seeking skilled Drillers II for various job sites. This role requires travel, and candidates must be prepared for extended periods away from home. Daily per diem reimbursement will be provided for travel expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drilling equipment to install various types of cables and utilities using the HDD trenchless construction method.
  • Maintain and complete daily drilling reports and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment.
  • Assist in team supervision and occasionally cover for the Traveling Driller III / Lead.
  • Promote positive relationships with team members and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling, particularly around utilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical prints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with various drilling and excavation equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and maintaining logs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Education:

High School diploma or GED required. Additional certifications in relevant fields are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed. This position involves significant travel and time spent in the field.
