Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our team at Big O Tires - New Albany/Jeffersonville. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships with our guests, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Build strong relationships with our customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, including tires, wheels, and auto services, to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Sales and Service: Meet or exceed sales targets by providing excellent customer service, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales and service associates to achieve team goals, share knowledge, and provide support to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the showroom and inventory areas, to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking inventory, including tires and auto parts, to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.

Requirements:

  • 1 Year Minimum Sales Experience: Proven sales experience in a retail or automotive environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership abilities, team building skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically, solve problems, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using computer systems, including point-of-sale software, to manage sales, inventory, and customer data.
