Position Overview:

Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a skilled Procurement Technician to provide essential support for the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Purchasing Agents in the formulation of statements of work and justifications.
  • Collaborate with end-users to address and resolve order-related issues.
  • Document all matters related to orders comprehensively.
  • Engage with vendors to clarify and rectify invoice discrepancies.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintain data entry in spreadsheets.
  • Organize procurement documentation and maintain purchase order records.
  • Input data into reporting systems accurately.
  • Maintain purchase order files and oversee the closeout process.
  • Facilitate the processing of travel orders for Purchasing personnel.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
