Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Senior Analyst to join our team in Lab Information Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, building, and modifying complex applications, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing support to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate the implementation, design, development, and maintenance of applications assigned to the laboratory team, including Epic Beaker.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application's configuration, function, and access.
  • Support junior staff members in day-to-day operations, resolving application issues, and evaluating and resolving service tickets.
  • Work with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, support, and attend applicable committees.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Epics Beaker (CP) Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; 5 years preferably in healthcare or a healthcare-related organization.
  • Ability to travel to the job site during go-lives, conferences, rounding, and/or senior leadership meetings.
  • Analyze and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
