Job Title: Windows Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Administrator to join our team at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. As a key member of our IT Services Division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying complex integrated system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Windows servers hosted in a virtualized environment
  • Support and develop deployment packages in PowerShell
  • Perform cryptography and PKI management, including SSL and TLS certificate management
  • Administer Active Directory and Active Directory Modules
  • Configure, secure, and lock down Microsoft Windows OS systems
  • Create custom MS Windows OS WIM images
Requirements:
  • Considerable knowledge of current information technology trends and capabilities
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting network, server, or storage systems
  • Experience resolving network or server problems
  • Experience working with end users to develop and implement information technology solutions
  • Experience as a technical lead implementing or supporting network, server, or storage systems
Preferred Experience:
  • Strong experience with PowerShell
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
  • IIS understanding and knowledge of IIS Module management
  • Secret/credential management with any vaulting tool
