Position Title: Culinary Operations Supervisor


Grace Christian School, a private K-8 educational institution, is seeking a dedicated Culinary Operations Supervisor for the academic year. Our school is devoted to delivering a rigorous academic experience alongside a strong Christian foundation for our diverse student population. At Grace, we integrate Biblical teachings across all subjects, helping students recognize God's presence in every aspect of life. Our Christ-centered curriculum emphasizes God's word as the ultimate truth and authority.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory management and organization of storage areas.
  • Develop menus that adhere to nutritional guidelines for children.
  • Create grocery lists for the culinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations.
  • Plan snacks for after-school programs.
  • Research and coordinate food procurement.
  • Schedule maintenance for kitchen equipment.
  • Manage the food service budget.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Serve as a Christian role model to foster spiritual growth within the program.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the Head of School.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts (preferred)
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification

Classification:

  • Exempt
