Synerfac is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee the Outdoor Power Equipment and Service division. Our client is a premier distributor specializing in electrical power generators and outdoor power equipment.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading the parts and service teams, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire and lead staff; handle recruitment, training, and development in alignment with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Oversee attendance management and performance reviews; engage in the hiring process; implement disciplinary measures and terminations; support ongoing education and growth of team members to ensure peak performance.
  • Drive parts sales to enhance and sustain performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Control departmental costs and overhead; manage inventory and submit purchase requests; authorize departmental expenditures.
  • Supervise service sales and customer service initiatives to maximize performance, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the maintenance and condition of all facilities and equipment are upheld.
  • Provide insights and develop strategies to enhance the quality, quantity, and efficiency of service and parts.
  • Continuously gather intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and strategies, and relay this information to relevant company personnel.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to strategic planning and policy development as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in business is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lawn and garden equipment is essential.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Must successfully pass background checks and periodic drug screenings.
