Concession Stand Cook

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Concession Cooks to enhance our culinary team at Nassau Coliseum. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing meals in accordance with established recipes and chef guidelines.

• Adhere to opening and closing procedures, as well as food production tasks.
• Prepare food and beverage items according to recipe specifications, utilizing proper preparation techniques and sanitation practices.
• Set up and operate kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to comprehend recipes and food abbreviations.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and collaborate within a team.
• Basic math skills for understanding and following recipe measurements and proportions.

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
• Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Exposure to varying temperatures.
