Concession Chef

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Concession Cooks to enhance our culinary team at Nassau Coliseum. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing meals in accordance with established recipes and chef guidelines.

• Adhere to opening and closing procedures, as well as food production protocols.
• Prepare food and beverage items according to recipe specifications, utilizing proper preparation techniques and sanitation standards.
• Set up and operate kitchen equipment efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and adequately stocked workstation.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to comprehend recipes and food abbreviations.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and collaborate within a team.
• Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more.
• Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Exposure to varying temperatures.
