Concession Chef

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Concession Cooks to support our operations at Nassau Coliseum. In this role, you will be tasked with preparing meals in accordance with established recipes and chef guidelines.

• Adhere to opening and closing procedures, as well as food production tasks
• Prepare food and beverage items following recipe specifications, utilizing proper techniques and sanitation practices
• Set up and operate kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to comprehend recipes and food abbreviations
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures, take directions, and collaborate within a team
• Basic math skills for understanding and following recipe measurements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
• Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders
• Exposure to varying temperatures
