Position Overview:

  • Work in conjunction with the Public Works department to maintain the cleanliness of streets, parks, and community facilities.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to efficiently remove litter and debris.
  • Engage with community members and visitors to address inquiries and foster a sense of pride in our town.
  • Support landscaping efforts, including planting, watering, and caring for trees.
  • Keep detailed records and reports of activities performed.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of community events, ensuring a clean and organized space.
  • Lead educational programs aimed at increasing community awareness about cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines consistently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid Class D driver's license is necessary.
  • Experience in community service or landscaping is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Physical capability to perform various tasks and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
