Job Title: Payment Research Specialist

At William Everett, we are seeking a highly skilled Payment Research Specialist to join our team. As a Payment Research Specialist, you will be responsible for researching and resolving discrepancies for motorists concerning payments that were processed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies for motorists
  • Create and track reports in Excel regarding no information payments
  • Communicate and follow up with customers via email regarding payment inquiries
  • Use payment research software to accurately support payment research requests
  • Utilize document encoding software to accurately capture payment information and review results
  • Utilize credit card authorization software and follow document control and business process procedures
  • Complete daily deposits for submission to financial institutions
  • Possess fast and accurate keyboarding skills
  • Experience with writing and maintaining operations process documents
  • Be highly organized and work under time constraints to meet payment processing deadlines
  • Pack documents into storage boxes and label them according to document type and date
  • Complete daily scanner equipment maintenance
  • Follow business operations processes and procedures to complete work assignments accurately
  • Commit to minimal absenteeism and maintain an excellent attendance record
  • Be production-oriented and comfortable working to meet daily processing goals and targets
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in finding resolution to customer disputes
  • Experience in providing face-to-face and over-the-phone customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and oral
  • Intermediate computer knowledge
  • Possess a positive attitude and pay close attention to detail

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able to wear appropriate professional dress to work each day
  • Must be prompt and reliable
  • Must possess integrity and honesty
  • Must possess a high degree of patience and empathy for others
  • Must be flexible
