Work Schedule: This role offers a hybrid work model, requiring a combination of onsite and remote work.

Position Overview: The Healthcare Financial Analysis Specialist is responsible for delivering in-depth financial and clinical data analysis to support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making within the medical center or physician group. This includes the creation of detailed operating budgets based on patient volume and utilization projections, as well as overseeing profitability reporting and the integration of clinical and financial data into a centralized repository.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects and serve as a key resource on teams focused on business development and the implementation of new programs.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies, ROI evaluations, and the development of pro forma financial statements for new initiatives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data modeling processes and outputs.
  • Conduct performance analysis, utilization reviews, and market trend assessments.
  • Participate in project teams to synthesize and validate data from various sources, creating comprehensive reports for management.
  • Assist in budget development by providing financial and statistical insights.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of decision support systems and business statistics.
  • Proficient in financial data management and clinical finance.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex information clearly.
  • Proven analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of nine years of relevant experience in decision support or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an academic medical center, understanding of productivity measures, and proficiency in decision support systems.
