Overview

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Technical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role will be fully remote within the United States, providing an excellent opportunity for work-life balance.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can conduct thorough evaluations of software/systems activities, including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, testing, verification, and validation. The ideal candidate will define measures to ensure product quality, develop operating criteria, and implement software/system quality programs according to project, process, and contract requirements.

This position requires a strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, load, and system testing. The successful candidate will assure the appropriate level of quality by resolving defects, working closely with developers and engineers to ensure a robust testing process.

We also require a proactive individual who can investigate potential security holes and attack vectors within existing and newly-developed code bases. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent) in a related field is required. An active HUD Public Trust clearance is mandatory for this position.

The estimated salary for this role is USD $75,000 per year.
