Job Summary

Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support the company's mission in the Intelligence Community.

As a leading technology company, CTC provides a range of services including lifecycle IT, data analytics, cloud managed hosting, agile software development, DevOps, Test Automation, Cyber Security, and infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess existing capabilities and identify potential approaches to increase DevOps adoption and convert applications into cloud environments.
  • Analyze capabilities to identify data migration, software modification, legal, security, and compliance requirements associated with the cloud conversion.
  • Design, develop, and test software changes required for converting capabilities, adhering to the approach selected by the company.
  • Develop, test, and coordinate a deployment plan to implement changes seamlessly into the cloud environment.
  • Leverage cloud experience to ensure a smooth integration of modified capabilities into cloud environments, optimizing performance and resource utilization.
Requirements
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in IT and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Four (4) additional years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Four (4) years' experience with cloud technologies.
  • Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices within a project or organization
  • In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies, with a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes for automation.
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps and related technologies are highly desirable.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
  • Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS.
