We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Peraton. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities- Design and develop cloud-based software solutions using Java, Apache Open Source NiFi, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code, following industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical guides, user manuals, and API documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
- Five (5) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Elastic Certified Engineer.
- Apache Open Source Hadoop.
- Apache Open Source Accumulo.

Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
