Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and reconciling vendor invoices, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of bills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
  • Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for payment of bills
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
