We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy services to elementary school students in the San Mateo, CA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify students' communication needs.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to support students' communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting students' communication development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress to inform instruction and therapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- CA SLPA License.
- Previous experience working with elementary school students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
