Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler System Specialist to join our team at Everon LLC. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial fire sprinkler systems while working under minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial applications.
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance as well as emergency service calls on existing sprinkler systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning sprinkler systems.
  • Replace or repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
  • Prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed.
  • Complete monthly vehicle reports and maintain truck inventory.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school/vocational training and three or more years of experience in all fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action).

You should also possess a working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems, as well as a full understanding of NFPA and local codes that apply (NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24).

A valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening are also required.

In addition, you must be able to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures in English.

Work Environment:

This position involves exposure to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate will regularly stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to handle, reach, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.

Additionally, they will use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color vision.

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per year.
