Job Overview
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Delta Systems & Automation LLC. We design and build automated turnkey packaging machinery systems for various industries, and we're looking for someone with experience in complex machine assembly to fill this role.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and existing skill set. Our company offers a range of benefits, including generously funded group medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance policies, short-term disability policy, long-term disability policy, 401(k) retirement plan, company 401k matching contributions, paid vacation and sick days, and 11 company-paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities
This Assembly Technician will assemble components and equipment per specifications in an accurate, neat, and timely manner that meets both business and customers' needs. This includes responsibilities such as:
  • Assembling and sub-assembling components and metal parts according to drawings and blueprints.
  • Communicating with co-workers who have experience with specific customer requirements.
  • Communicating job material shortages or specification discrepancies which could impact the completion of an assignment.
  • Working cooperatively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work and common areas.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of work experience in complex machine assembly. A 2-year trade school degree is preferred, as well as background in industrial automation. You must also have reliable transportation and own hand tools.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position at our climate-controlled facility. The hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday; some overtime and travel may be required.
