TB/Refugee Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Coordinator to join our team at Maricopa County Department of Public Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for program evaluation, quality assurance, and contract compliance for our specialized programs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with TB/Refugee grant requirements and state and federal statues
- Develop and implement ongoing data and performance evaluation to track and measure the impact of interventions and activities
- Identify opportunities for improvement through Quality Assurance processes and program activity reports
- Research, analyze, and recommend best practices for improving TB and Refugee health outcomes
- Assist program staff and others on evaluation methods and tools, data visualizations, and performance data analysis
- Propose and establish program goals, evaluate and determine program effectiveness, and measure and report on program success
- Formulate policies and procedures, implement and make changes as appropriate
- Compile and analyze information and resources, perform studies and research projects, and present and provide recommendations for leadership decisions based on data results
- Coordinate the development of trainings and informational materials to promote public/external stakeholders' understanding of program activities, services, and requirements
- Maintain relationships with billing vendors and oversee all program processes related to AHCCCS/Health plan billing/coding and reimbursement
- Support monitoring grants, licensing, and program contracts, and participate in monitoring the program budget and ensuring adherence to budget
- One year of experience in coordinating public health programs
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience adapting public health practices to meet the needs of diverse populations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
- Experience in program coordination, planning, program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, infectious disease programs, and/or state/local authority grants and contracts
