Position Overview:
The Custodial Specialist at The Avaline at River Oaks plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and hygienic atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff members.
This role encompasses both full-time and part-time hourly opportunities within our assisted living and memory care facility. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Director, the Custodial Specialist is tasked with adhering to all cleaning protocols in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing all common areas, resident suites, and administrative offices.
- Ensure proper maintenance and storage of all cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues in resident areas or communal spaces.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety measures to promote a secure and healthy environment for everyone on the premises.
- Assist with laundry services as required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to residents, guests, and team members.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when engaging with residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in housekeeping, ideally within a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning and disinfection protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
