Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations at construction sites, reporting directly to the General Superintendent of Keller Brothers Inc. This position collaborates closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Schedule and manage trade subcontractors, oversee material and equipment deliveries, and monitor project progress.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all work aligns with contract documents, project specifications, and schedules.
  • Productivity Maximization: Strive to enhance production efficiency while minimizing disruptions and downtime.
  • Quality and Safety Management: Implement and uphold safety and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Relations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized project site to foster positive client interactions and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Project-Specific Duties:

  • Schedule Development: Collaborate with the Project Manager to create and maintain a detailed project schedule, including a three-week look-ahead plan.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and document various meetings, including pre-construction, coordination, and safety meetings.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive records, including daily reports, photographic documentation, and as-built records.
  • Safety Oversight: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and take immediate action to rectify unsafe conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the commercial construction sector, preferably with K-12 projects.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams to successful project completion.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
